The celebrated Connaught Grill is set to return to the Mayfair establishment early this year after a 20-year hiatus.
John Heah is leading the design efforts and has enlisted Pennsylvania-based George Nakashima Woodworkers to create bespoke wall panelling, tables and chairs for the restaurant.
Renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten is reinterpreting the menu while retaining classics from the former restaurant.
Co-owner Paddy McKillen said that the project will ensure the legend of the original restaurant will live on ‘to be discovered by a new generation.’
