Ultima Cannes Le Grand Jardin will open in Spring 2022 as the newest addition to the Ultima Collection of boutique properties. The secluded estate is the only private property on the island of Sainte-Marguerite in the Lérins archipelago and was previously home to royalty like Louis XIV.
Ultima is working with local experts to restore the historic aspects of the hotel, some of which date back to the 13th century. The property will feature 11 bedrooms and suites, indoor and outdoor dining areas, an outdoor pool, open-air cinema and a spa. A 14,000-square-metre botanical park surrounds the hotel, which is only accessible by air or sea.
