Italian design brand Baxter has showcased its Worldwide 2020 collection, with Silvera hosting the London reveal in its King’s Road showroom.
Baxter, which usually presents at Milan Design Week, took a global approach this year by revealing the collection over 24 hours at key locations around the world including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Bangkok, Moscow, Tel Aviv, Paris, Milan, Rome, London, New York and Los Angeles.
The collection was conceptualised in-house and with a notable roster of designers such as Studiopepe and Paola Navone and is said to be characterised by ‘reassurance’, with soft, rounded shapes intended to instil a sense of protection and comfort – a welcome concept considering the difficulties of 2020.
