Less is more, the well-known mantra bandied around by minimalist interior designers, takes on a deeper meaning when it comes to Kelly Hoppen, MBE. Not only does the South African designer apply the ethos to her distinctive East-Meets-West aesthetic – a glamorous look that her eponymous design studio has played out across countless yacht interiors, restaurants, offices and tower blocks over the last four decades – Ms Hoppen is also branding her own product range while designing for, and collaborating with, retailers at various levels to give consumers the chance to get her look, for less.
