Cultivated in France and distilled in the UK, Renais is a luxury craft gin created by siblings Alex Watson, a former marketing executive with Diageo and ETM Group, and actor-turned-activist Emma Watson, made from leftover pressed grapes from their family’s wine estate. In this interview, co-founder and CEO Alex reflects on how Renais honours the Chablis terroir, where their father planted the Domaine Watson vineyard over 30 years ago while pushing boundaries in the gin category.
