British yacht manufacturer Sunseeker has been sold to international buyers in a monumental move set to steer the brand in a new direction, following last year’s impressive generation of around £320 million in aggregate sales, primarily from yachts in the 15 to 50-metre range. Andrea Frabetti, Sunseeker’s chief executive, expressed confidence in the forthcoming acquisition by the American fund Lionheart Capital and Italian fund Orienta Capital Partners: “We are confident that under the new leadership, Sunseeker will thrive and reach new heights.”
