In the highly competitive luxury market, the most successful brands have been those that go beyond merely showcasing their goods. According to Business of Fashion and McKinsey’s The State of Fashion 2024, brands are shifting away from performance marketing in favour of forging meaningful and emotional connections to their customers with 71 per cent of executives planning to increase brand marketing budgets on from 2023.
