Dutch superyacht builder Heesen Yachts proudly presents the 50-metre Project Orion, the latest addition to its hybrid fleet. As the superyacht industry moves towards sustainability, Project Orion represents a significant advancement, blending engineering expertise with sustainable materials to minimise environmental impact. Set for delivery in Q1 2025, the yacht is constructed from lightweight aluminium and features hybrid-electric propulsion, enabling silent cruising and a fuel consumption of just 45 litres per hour at 10 knots—a 30 per cent reduction compared to traditional diesel engines.
