London-based fine wine and spirits retailer Justerini & Brooks has launched a new gifting experience for those passionate about collecting and sampling rare whisky.
The Pleasure of Rare Whisky experience is available to those who purchase one or more bottles of rare whisky from a selection that has been hand-picked by Justerini & Brooks Head of Rare and Collectable Whiskies, Tod Bradbury. With their purchase, customers will receive a whisky tasting kit with four, 50cl samples of exclusive whiskies, a one-to-one tasting tutorial hosted by Bradbury, and a special-edition, leather-bound Smythson journal, which can be used to document tasting notes.
Justerini & Brooks’ rare whisky collection includes bottles from Scotland’s most famous distilleries, including Port Ellen, Brora, Talisker and Mortlach. Rare and collectable whisky has been showing significant investment growth, with the 2020 Knight Frank Wealth Report Rare Whisky Index, released in March, showing a 586 per cent increase in the value of rare Scottish single malts over the past 10 years.
