Located within the Mall of the Emirates, Harvey Nichols’ UAE flagship in Dubai has unveiled a new design by Virgile+Partners.
The store’s new Edgy Designer department, home to brands such as Roksanda, Zimmermann, and Roland Mouret, has been designed to incorporate strong geometric shapes which manifest in the flooring and structural accents.
A ‘road’ of white, grey and rose coloured marble flooring creates a sense of direction and links the zones, emphasised by its mirror image reflected from the ceiling.
Carlos Virgile, Director of Virgile+Partners, said: ‘The design aims to break a traditional department store mould and move it closer to the character of an inspiring and inventive boutique.’
