Musée Delvaux, dedicated to relaying the legacy of one of the world’s oldest luxury leather goods makers, has opened in the Arsenal district of Brussels.

Designed by scenographer Bob Verhelst, the museum recounts the Maison’s signature creations such as the Le Brilliant handbag in 1958, the Tempête in 1967, the Pin in 1972, the Madame in 1977 and the Cool Box in 2018.

The curation also includes Delvaux’s history of serving the Royal Court, first granted by King Leopold II in 1883, and recounts its journey as a certified and patented creator of the modern handbag in 1908.
