Milan-based studio Vudafieri-Saverino Partners has created a new design concept for Michelin-starred restaurant Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia, Milan.
Considered a symbol of Italian culinary excellence since 1962, the latest iteration of the restaurant’s design reflects on the history and character of the place, with new features including a space dedicated to workshops and masterclasses called the Theatrum of Flavours.
The interior-design touches include warm tones of Canaletto walnut defining the rooms, while fabrics wrap around and decorate the space. Arriving at the newly designed restaurant, guests will be welcomed by an original 1950s bar designed by renowned Milanese architect Osvaldo Borsani.
