The luxury cruise-line company Cunard has announced the design team recruited to create the interiors for its eagerly anticipated new ship.
It’s partnered with Simon Rawlings (David Collins Studio), Terry McGillicuddy (Richmond International) and Sybille de Margerie (Sybille de Margerie Paris), and the designers are already working with Cunard’s globally renowned creative director, Adam D Tihany, on the brand’s fourth ship, which is set to join the fleet in 2022.
Built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, the ship’s name is yet to be confirmed and while the design details are largely under wraps, Cunard has confirmed David Collins Studio will be responsible for the Grand Lobby and the main dining room, while Richmond International will create the ship’s theatre and entertainment spaces.
