The opening of Manolo Blahnik’s first store in Switzerland also marks a symbolic homecoming for the designer who attended university in the city in the 1960s. The 860-sq-ft retail space is situated on Rue de la Corraterie, in the centre of the Swiss capital. British architect Nick Leith- Smith has collaborated on the design of the new space, which features engineered clean lines, polka dots and geometric shapes.
